Personal information we collect about you

How do we use your personal information?

Your personal data will be collected and processed for the following purposes :

We do not make decisions based solely on automated processing, including profiling, that have legal effect on you or significantly affect you.

The retention period for your personal data depends on the purpose for which it is processed and the tool used for its processing. It is not possible to set out the various data retention periods here in a reasonably comprehensible manner in the context of this policy. Marketing Communications

B2B (business to business) communications : When you (representing or acting on behalf of a company or legal entity, whether private or public) provide us with your personal data by contacting us as a customer or prospect, you are giving EBC permission to send you marketing communications (usually sent by email). In this case, the processing of your personal data is legally based on our legitimate interest in developing our customer and prospect database, our customer loyalty programmes, and presenting you with our services or future services that may be of interest to you. In any case, if marketing communications are sent to you by email and you no longer wish to receive such communications, you may unsubscribe by clicking on the deregister or unsubscribe link in the email. You may also exercise your right to unsubscribe at any time by contacting us at contact@ebc-solutions.fr and providing the following information: your name, email address, phone number, and marketing communications you no longer wish to receive.

Communication to third parties

In order to facilitate the use of your information and provide you with content and/or resources, we communicate your information to third parties. However, such communication will only take place under the following circumstances:

– Communication to suppliers and service providers : from time to time, we hire or engage other companies to perform certain functions on our behalf. This category of third parties includes data hosting providers. We may also pass on your details to training and social action organisations, which are themselves subject to a strict duty of confidentiality.

– Disclosure to government or law enforcement authorities if we determine, in our sole discretion, that we are legally required to do so.
– Communication to our clients when it is part of our mission. We will share with our clients the personal information we collect about you using the chat bot feature only if you are a match for a specific job opening.

IP addresses and cookies

We collect information on your computer, including (where possible) your IP address, operating system and browser type, for system administration purposes. This is statistical data about our users’ browsing habits and behaviour and does not identify you or any other individual.

For the same purpose, we obtain information related to your general use of the Internet, using a cookie file deposited and stored on your device. If you share your computer with others, we recommend that you do not select the “Remember me” option when it is offered by the website.

Where is your personal information stored and processed?

As explained above under “Disclosure to Third Parties”, we disclose your personal data to :

Is your data transferred outside the European Union?

Your personal information may be transferred to and processed in one or more other countries, inside or outside the European Union. We will only transfer your personal information outside the European Union to countries considered by the European Commission to offer an adequate level of protection, or to countries with which the EBC Group has put appropriate measures in place to safeguard your data’s confidentiality.

Data security

While we are committed to doing whatever is necessary to protect your personal information, you should be aware that transmission of information over the Internet is not completely secure. We therefore cannot guarantee the security of your personal data communicated on the website or to any third party and, for this reason, any communication of data is your sole responsibility. Your rights, your means of access to and rectification and deletion of your personal information

Under applicable data protection laws, your rights are as follows :

If this is the case, you can access your personal data and certain information relating to their processing. In some cases, we may provide you with an electronic copy of your data upon request. – Rights to restrict or object to the processing of your data In certain circumstances, you are entitled to request the restriction of or object to the processing of your personal information on the basis of your circumstances.
